“Supergirl” may have stumbled, but that isn’t stopping James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Universe from moving forward with a new TV series seemingly revealed today.

As we know, DC Studios has “Clayface,” “Man of Tomorrow,” “Dynamic Duo,” “Deathstroke and Bane,” and the non-DCU “The Batman: Part II” all coming to cinemas in the next few years

On the TV front, there’s the TV series centering on Jimmy Olsen (Skyler Gisondo) and Gorilla Grodd that’s very much in the works, along with a second season of the animated “Creature Commandos”.

Within the new THR feature piece going into the test screening process of “Supergirl,” it’s confirmed that the TV series focused on Mr. Terrific (Edi Gathegi) from “Superman” is moving forward.

It says the project is in active development and has Allan Heinberg (“Wonder Woman,” “Young Avengers,” “The Sandman”) writing the pilot. Gathegi is also reprising the role in next year’s “Man of Tomorrow”.

This will mark the second live-action screen take on the character to come to television following Echo Kellum’s turn in the part in The CW’s “Arrow” series.
