In a disturbing incident from Agra, a woman is accused of murdering her alcoholic husband, Surendra Kumar Sharma, and concealing his body under a concrete floor in their bathroom. Following his disappearance, Ruby reported him missing and feigned grief, even viewing CCTV footage with police.

In a shocking case from Agra, a woman allegedly killed her husband because of his alcohol addiction. After killing her husband, she allegedly buried his body in the bathroom and constructed a concrete floor over the spot. After filing a missing person report, she even viewed CCTV footage with the police and cried in the neighborhood, showing grief for her husband. Later on Friday (July 3), the woman finally revealed the incident to her brother-in-law.
Surendra Kumar Sharma, 44, originally from Ranjeet Nagar in Bharatpur, lived in the Renuka Dham Colony in Dahtora, Sikandra. He lived with his wife Ruby, his mother Kamala, and his two daughters. His brother, Anil Sharma, stated that Surendra was unemployed and an alcoholic, which led to frequent quarrels with Ruby. On May 18, Ruby called Anil to inform him that the police were conducting a raid at their home.
She asked him to take her mother-in-law and daughters away from the house. Acting on her request, Anil arrived and brought Surendra’s mother and two daughters to his own home in Vayu Vihar. Ruby arrived there the following day, claiming that Surendra had gone away and said he would return in four to five days. When he failed to return after that period, Anil took Ruby to the Prachi Tower police outpost on May 26 and filed a missing person report.
Suicide or Murder?
The police registered a report and reviewed CCTV footage with Ruby but found no leads. Meanwhile, Ruby continued to stay at Anil Sharma’s house along with Surendra’s mother and daughters. Anil tried to question her several times, but Ruby revealed nothing. About seven to eight days ago, Anil had sent Surendra's family and mother to his (Surendra's) house.
Subsequently, the police excavated the bathroom floor and discovered a skeleton. The woman has been taken into custody and is being interrogated; however, she has not yet confessed to the murder. She claims that her husband used to beat her and had committed suicide by hanging himself, and that she buried him in the bathroom out of fear.
Growing suspicious, Anil brought his mother back from Surendra's house on June 27. He took her to Bharatpur and checked her bank statement, as her pension was deposited into that account; Ruby used to handle the spending and would give her only a small portion of the money.
Rubi's Confession to Her Husband
On Friday, Ruby called Anil to the house. He arrived in the morning and asked her where Surendra was. She revealed that she had buried him beneath the bathroom floor.
Acting on the information provided by Anil, the police arrived, dug up the bathroom floor, and recovered the body. Ruby was subsequently taken into custody. DCP City Sayyad Ali Abbas stated that a case has come to light where a woman committed murder and buried the body in the bathroom; efforts are currently underway to uncover further details through interrogation.
